BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ dominates Billboard Global 200

The reign of BTS’s Dynamite on Billboard seems to be undone as it continues to dominate on the music chart for the week ending on October 31.

It means that the septet’s recent track spends a ninth week on the Hot 100 chart this week. This time on the number seven spot!

At the Digital Song Sales chart, the track scores its ninth week on the top. Ending October 22, the group achieved 25,000 sales in the week, down 43%.

The unstoppable Dynamite

Furthermore, on the Global 200 chart, BTS’s Dynamite spends a third total week at number one. The Global 200 is based on sales and streaming data compiled by Nielsen Music/MRC Data from more than 200 territories, and it ranks the most popular tracks internationally.

With 74.8 million streams, the track takes the top spot marking a 1 percent increase from last week.

During the week ending October 22, Dynamite achieved 24,000 downloads sold, which keep a 20% increase.

Meanwhile, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, the song also ranked number one. The map features data from territories excluding the United States.

This week, the song raked 63.5 million streams (up 2 percent) and 15,000 downloads sold (up 25%). This is its fifth overall week that the track is enjoying at the top.

BTS’s Skool Luv Affair Grabbed A Spot In Billboard 200

BTS’s Skool Luv Affair seems to be enjoying a Billboard spot this year. The album came out on February 12, 2014, and it is the septet’s second mini-album, which features the title track Boy In Luv.

Last year, a limited edition repackaged version titled Skool Luv Affair Special Addition was initially released.

The Big Hit Entertainment recently conducted a survey on Weverse to determine which out-of-stock or out-of-print BTS’s albums fans most wanted to see re-released.

The result revealed Skool Luv Affair Special Addition as the first. And on October 13, 2020, the album was reprinted and re-released.

On October 26, the album debuted on this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 12!

Kudos to the majestic superstars, BTS!
