Activision’s Call of Duty: Mobile had a great run last year. More are expected this 2021, most especially with its playlist.
Call of Duty: Mobile built the bridge between the avid CoD fans without decent PC specs and their passion for the game. Throughout 2020, the mobile version of the game proved to be one of the publisher’s best titles, bringing in more players to the realm.
With its promise to only bring the mobile game further up, Activision decided for a season reset. This means that the new season for 2021 will start with one (1), instead of continuing from the last season, Season 13.
For the logic behind the reset, the official Reddit page of the game explains:
“This name refresh will apply to all seasons and Ranked Series going forward in 2021. We wanted to keep it clean, easy to understand, and not quite as intimidating as seeing something like Call of Duty: Mobile Season 26: Eggplant Warfare (don’t you dare think this is a real name 😉).”
Nevertheless, the new playlist is coming starting tomorrow when Season 1 2021 goes live.
Warzone BR mode: Blitz
Among all the new things coming to CoDM, Warzone‘s very own Blitz BR mode is set to debut. For those who are not familiar with this mode, the gist of it all is that it has smaller zones and lesser time.
That said, Blitz will have a smaller battlefield, and the zones will be picked at random. It will be a more concentrated area compared to the classic BR gameplay.
Aside from that, the players are reduced to 40, instead of the usual 100 players. With little players to battle against, there’s less time per game.

Other expected playlist
Aside from Blitz, Attack of the Undead is going to make a comeback, but this time, it will contain 20 players. Per GameRant, this Multiplayer mode has been improved.
Moreover, Activision has since introduced the 1v1 and 2v2 MP mode. Of course, naturally, they came up with a 3v3 Gunfight mode.

Although a Trios MP mode is not technically new within the Call of Duty community. It won’t be a surprise if Activision decides to introduce a 4v4 as well, just to complete the set.
This season’s title is aptly titled “New Order” with a theme post-revolution theme—somehow giving off a Cyberpunk vibe.

Meanwhile, a new multiplayer map will also be introduced called “Reclaim.” It has a post-Christmas theme going on. It’ll be a good fix for those who still have the Holiday hangover.
