Drop Zone’s main goal
To win the game, teams will need to keep staying inside their designated drop zones to earn points. The teams’ ultimate goal is to reach the required point total or get the most point when the time ends.
Players should keep in mind that points are earned for every teammate in the drop zone. Therefore, the more players are inside, the more points you rack up. The zone also moves around the map and can be spotted through the Care Package Marker and red smoke.
Sounds simple enough, right? Well here’s the catch. Killstreaks repeatedly rain down from the sky as teams maintain to hold the drop zone, so things tend to get pretty insane.

Tips to succeed in Drop Zone
Here are a few tips to help players succeed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s newest game mode.
While players do receive more points for having the whole squad inside the drop zone at the same time, that isn’t always the best way to go. With that strategy, the team will be more susceptible to aerial killstreaks and equipment that can take out multiple members of the squad at once.
Having more than one person in the drop zone is a good idea, just make sure not to put all the eggs in one basket.
Care Packages are the key. Teams will receive Care Package drops which you’ll need to secure since they may contain valuable killstreaks that can easily turn the tide of the match in your favor.
This takes some time so it is imperative that the team safeguards the drop zone while one or two members collect the rewards because enemy squads can and will steal them from you.

Consider having at least two people inside the zone at any given time. One can work on retrieving the Care Package, while the other can guard the perimeter.
If, for whatever reason, only one team member can fetch the package, try using smoke for cover and hide behind the package itself while working on it to give increase the odds of surviving.
Don’t forget to tailor-fit Loadouts for Drop Zone. Bear in mind that Killstreaks are deactivated for this mode since it is acquired through different means.
Use those slots for important equipment and perks like smoke that can help you capture Care Packages and Quick Fix that allows you to regenerate your health quicker so you can get back into the fray.
Relive the good ‘ole Call of Duty classic and make sure to secure the objectives.
