Developers have confirmed that Duos Mode is currently being developed for Call of Duty: Warzone to fulfill fan requests.
As Call of Duty: Warzone is about to reach its 2nd monthsary, the game’s developers are planning to add new features every week.
The somewhat new battle royale shooting game has amassed a huge chunk of market shares. To further increase its shares, developers are attempting to cope up with the demands of its users.
It will never be easy to please their millions of users. However, Infinity Ward and Activision are definitely trying. In a recent interview, game developers Amos Hodge and Taylor Kurosaki announced the most awaited Duos mode will be available in the future.
Duos Mode coming soon
Call of Duty: Warzone has almost everything a player would want to have in a battle royale. The game features high player limits and various party sizes to choose from.
However, a duos mode is inexplicably missing in the game’s flagship battle royale mode. After receiving tons of request from fans to add the duos mode, the developers have heeded the call.
However, according to the development team, the duos mode’s release will be delayed due to several bugs and issues encountered during testing.
Amos Hodge, the creative director for Raven Software, explained during an interview that the mode has minor issues that will need to be fixed before duos mode can be added into the game.
He also wanted to guarantee that the timing of the release is right and that their fans will still be excited in playing the new mode.
Call of Duty: Warzone will be adding a Duos option for battle royale, but the development team says it isn't ready yet.

Addressing the playlist issue
In the interview, Hodge also discussed why Call of Duty: Warzone does not allow multiple playlists at one time. The main reason why is the game’s total player count.
He said that they really want to add new game modes but having a lot of playlists would cause bad server connections.
He also pointed out that there would be difficulty in matchmaking because it would need 150 players to be able to start a game.
The new updates will definitely increase the game’s overall file size again. If players are logging through Modern Warfare, a PC user will need over 180GB of free memory.
For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, they will even need more space. However, Call of Duty: Warzone is can be downloaded as a standalone which will make the download size significantly lower.
