Ever since Warzone made its appearance, developer Raven has only witnessed great success, resulting in its expansion as well.
Raven has recently added more than 100 new employees to its team. The Call of Duty: Warzone dev is now becoming a prominent studio with close to 350 people working under it.
‘Warzone’ enables Raven to grow big!
Currently, it won’t justify anymore to call Raven just a supporting studio to Activision. It’s because the former has rapidly turned itself into a huge firm, following the surge in the popularity of Warzone.
Although it has always been a lesser-known studio than Treyarch and Infinity Ward, Raven’s days have changed significantly.
While Sledgehammer is working on 2021’s Call of Duty, in the meantime, COD Warzone has kept everyone hooked. And it’s due to Raven’s great work.
Apart from the blockbuster online multiplayer, the studio has also worked on COD Modern Warfare in the past.
Before 2020, Raven was mostly known for its old title, Singularity.
Currently, the dev is almost about to close in on 400 employees with its recent hiring. And it’s a great achievement for a lesser-known studio.
Not only that, there are still more than 40 positions open at the moment. It implies that it will eventually grow even bigger.
When it comes to the latest additions, then Respawn’s Manuel Torres Pineda has joined the developer. Far Cry 6 director Ted Timmins and Fortnite‘s William Fine are also among the new entrants.
As of now, there’s a new Warzone map in development for a future reveal.
