Call of Duty: Warzone season 4 is all set to arrive in the coming weeks, and now new details have emerged on what the next season will bring.
Call of Duty: Warzone season 4 will be arriving soon, and here’s what is known about the new season so far.
Activision’s new battle royale mode, Call of Duty: Warzone, had been a massive success right from the start. And it doesn’t seem like the company is planning to let all that success go to waste.
Activision and Call of Duty developers Infinity Ward and Raven Software has not released any official details regarding the fourth season of Warzone. However, the creative director of Raven Software, Amos Hodge, had divulged a few interesting details.
According to him, they are constantly working on game modes for the next season. This also includes items that would make gameplay more interesting.
Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki even teased Fortnite-like events for next season. “With Fortnite, you know that the world is ever-evolving and ever-changing so much you kind of don’t want to go away from it or you might miss something. It’s the same thing with Warzone,”says Kurosaki in an interview with GamerGen via GameRant.
#Warzone will be getting a stack of new game modes in Season 4 and beyond, a Raven Software dev has confirmed.

Kurosaki also revealed that new characters would arrive at Verdansk to join players in their fight. The current season saw the return of Modern Warfare’s Alex, who players died during the first story campaign.
So it’s definitely interesting what new characters/operators the next season would bring.
A new map
Data miners have uncovered a possible event that could happen in the coming weeks. According to them, a new map may emerge in Call of Duty: Warzone season 4. But in order for this to happen, the current map would need to be destroyed.
A post that has since been deleted on Twitter expands on this rumor. Apparently, one data miner stumbled upon a video labeled “season 4.” The video shows Verdansk filled with red dots, which possibly implies nuclear explosions.
Once the red dots reach a certain number, the video would then pan to Urzikstan, which is said to be the new map.
Unfortunately, there is no telling whether this rumor is true or if it will happen in the next season. These rumors should be taken with a grain of salt until Activision confirms the details themselves.
There is no official release date for Call of Duty: Warzone season 4. However, the season three battle pass is set to expire 55 days after its release. Therefore, season 4 could start rolling out on June 2, 2020, unless hindered by the pandemic.
