Call of Duty Warzone remains to be one of the most popular battle royales out there. With Call of Duty Warzone Season 6, the developers behind the game are ramping up their content for the game.
Activision just revealed the new trailer for Call of Duty Warzone Season 6, which launches this Sept. 29. The trailer showcased what players can expect from the new season, which includes the return of a few familiar faces for Call of Duty fans. Here’s what fans should expect next season.
New Operators
As with previous seasons of the battle royale, the new one will introduce new operators to the game. The star of the trailer is Farah. Those who have played last year’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare already know who this strong femme fatale is. Alongside her is a series veteran, Nikolai.
With regards to their addition, Activision says: “Zakhaev’s plan takes a turn as two familiar faces uncover more about Mr. Z’s underground network and operations in Verdansk. Farah and Nikolai both re-enter the fight to help long-time ally Captain Price with the ongoing conflict following the breakdown of the Armistice.”
Farah is unlocked at level 0 of the battle pass while Nikolai is unlocked at level 100.
Other reveals
As usual, there will be some major map changes in Call of Duty Warzone Season 6. This season, there will be a new subway system added to Verdasnk. Even before the reveal trailer, fans already expected this, as it was a part of some leaks for the game.
It will be exciting to see how players will use the subway system to their advantage in the battle royale. From the look of things, the tight corners and spots in the subway can either make or break players as they go about the map. Of course, the subway system can also be a disadvantage to players if they don’t plan accordingly.
The trailer for the upcoming season didn’t reveal much as the focus was on Farah and Nikolai. Players can expect to see more about the season in trailers, possibly releasing one of these days.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 6 launches this Sept. 29. Players should note that aside from these additions, there will most likely be some new tweaks to weapons and other aspects of the game. Players should also wait for the season’s patch, so they are in the loop of the recent changes.
