Camilla Parker Bowles, allegedly, became increasingly worried after learning that Prince Charles suffered a meltdown.
According to National Enquirer, Prince Charles is extremely stressed because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent allegations. As such, he suffered a meltdown and had to be checked by his doctors.
Prince Charles suffers from depression
A source claimed that Prince Charles also sank into a deep depression after Prince Harry lambasted him during his appearance in The Me You Can’t See. So, his wife, Camilla was forced to call their doctors to check up on him.
“Now Charles is quietly receiving treatment to get a grip on his anger and emotions. I’m told he’s refusing all contact with Harry – on doctor’s orders,” the source said.
The insider added that Camilla ordered Prince Charles to stay in Balmoral so that he could get away from it all.
Camilla wanted Prince Charles to avoid Prince Harry
And the Duchess of Cornwall also, allegedly, wanted to make sure that the heir to the throne would not cross paths with Prince Harry.
“Camilla is terrified her husband’s mental breakdown could lead to Queen Elizabeth changing the line of succession to the throne, leapfrogging Charles for William. It’s no secret Camilla’s lifelong dream is to be queen. She’s determined to let nothing – and certainly not Hollywood wannabes like Harry and Meghan – stop her. Her priority now is getting Charles to man up, push back against his fame-obsessed son and daughter-in-law and take charge,” the source said.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
There is no reason for Camilla to worry about Prince Charles because he didn’t have a breakdown.
It is also not true that the future king is suffering from depression because of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Prince Charles had been staying in Balmoral because of the coronavirus pandemic and not because he wanted to avoid Prince Harry.
It is also unlikely for the queen to leapfrog her eldest son by naming Prince William as king. After all, the monarch doesn’t have the power to change the Order of Succession.
With this, Prince Charles will succeed his mom after the queen dies or abdicates.
