The Vow star took to his Instagram to tell his fans about his new little adoption. Channing Tatum captions his post with a, “He’s gonna be a goon,” in reference to his new furry friend. The actor with his former beau, Jenna Dewan shared a dog named ‘Lulu.’ Unfortunately, the dog passed away in December, two years ago, after struggling with cancer.

The heart-broken couple had expressed their grief by posting their heartfelt messages to the fans. The actor is now getting ready to honor this very sentiment in his debut directorial movie, Dog.

To Self-transformations and healing

After his recent split with the pop star singer Jessie J, Tatum took it hard. Yet, with the motto of no pain, no gain, the actor took to Instagram on 24th September to share his achievement with the world.
“Gonna be a fun next 10 year run,” reads his post. The text was coupled with a monochrome mirror selfie.

The former Dear John star has his directorial debut, Dog, coming up, which is certainly one of the motives behind his fitness transformation. Ahead of his upcoming movie, the star further explains, “It’s been a long road back. Injuries, life shit, and just insanity in general.”

A new leaf, a new product

The actor also opened up his new directorial debut and how it’s one of the few things he is looking forward to.

“It’s already been a crazy ride. And we’ve only just begun. If we survive the rest, it will be one of the most insane stories that I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve been a part of some pretty crazy ones in this life of mine. This photo is from our first day of production on the first movie that my partner Reid and I are directing. This is our story. It’s taken us two years to get it to the starting line. The next eight weeks will be like riding a bull on sickmode in ludicrous speed. God be with us. In Dog we trust,” says his Instagram post of 21st September.

The one with the Dog

Further elaborating on the movie, Dog, follows “an army ranger and his dog” who “embark on a road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway to attend a friend’s funeral,” according to the project’s IMDb page.

After his split from short term affair with singer Jessie J around April this year, the actor took much-needed rest. And the rest seems to have paid off. Back with a pupper beside him and a promising movie ahead, the world only wishes him best on his future ventures!
