Call it the craze or madness, but fans are desperate to see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in the MCU, especially in the upcoming Spider-Man 3.
On Sunday, actor Charlie Cox did a reunion stream on Instagram for Betrayal, a Broadway production. During the stream, Cox’s beard appeared to be trimmed. And this resulted in fans coming up with theories over his Daredevil appearance in the MCU, with Spider-Man 3.
Because Matthew Murdock’s shorter beard means a good fit for a courtroom appearance, at least that’s what many people are thinking.

What makes this theory a little believable is that recently casting Agencies in Atlanta distributed several calls. Interestingly, actors need to assume a stenographer and attorney’s role in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
This means that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3 might have a courtroom scene. Now connecting this to Charlie Cox’s short beard look, fans assume Daredevil’s debut in the MCU title.
It’s because they are furious about Cox’s portrayal of Matthew Murdock as the Man Without Fear. And they don’t want a recasting of the Marvel character who had three successful seasons under Netflix before witnessing an unfortunate cancellation.
But now that he’s going to be under Marvel Studios, the hopes are getting increased among die-hard followers.
They want Charlie to be the Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future.
Another reason for him to appear in the next Spider-Man film is that Peter was falsely accused of killing Quentin Beck/Mysterio. So it seems like he might end up popping up in the movie, eventually.
MCU titles in the future
Meanwhile, there’s already a lot going in the most extensive superhero cinematic franchise in the world. The pandemic forced it to go into shell temporarily, but it managed to come out of that earlier this year.
With WandaVision, Marvel Studios began its releasing streak and also phased four. While it will end its season this Friday, the spot will continue after that as well.
After mid-March, the next big title from Marvel, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier, will arrive on the Disney+ platform.
Then there are many anticipated movies also, namely Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals. However, due to rising COVID-19 cases, it’s becoming difficult for them to release in theaters.
Hopes are still alive among the fans, but it will also depend on the situation after few months. If it remains unchanged, then the films might only come out on Disney’s streaming service and not in cinema halls.
Furthermore, there are currently multiple MCU titles in production. Some of the highly-awaited of them are Ms. Marvel, Thor 4, Hawkeye, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
