Chrissy Teigen and John Legend delivered the heartbreaking news about losing their baby boy through their social media accounts.
Chrissy Teigen marked Oct. 1 as their darkest day following the death of their baby, who they named Jack.
The model spent days at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a month of experiencing bleeding. She previously assured her fans that everything was going well, and her placenta was just weak.
However, after months of battling with her child, Jack lost his battle, and his passing caused everyone to break down.

Following the heartbreaking news, Vilailuck immediately drove to the hospital to see her grandson.
In a heartwrenching video she posted on her social media account, she can be seen crying hard before kissing Jack.
“My heart aches love you so much baby Jack,” Teigen’s mother captioned the Instagram update.
A hospital worker presents the baby boy to her, who immediately breaks down upon seeing him. The employee can be heard telling her to touch Jack if she wants.
The emotional grandmom then places her hand upon the child and kisses him. The next photos on the set show the crying Vilailuck, who cradles Jack for the first and last time.
Before the devastating event happened, Teigen already informed her fans and followers that she had been experiencing a complicated third pregnancy. Since day one, she and Legend fought with their child.
In a separate post, Teigen and Legend recalled their painful journey.
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions,” the post said. “It just wasn’t enough.”
Teigen’s baby was truly special
Before Jack, the couple shares two children, Luna and Miles. They conceived the two through in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
This made her third pregnancy a miracle as it happened naturally. She even described IVF pregnancies as “untouchable and safe” since her third pregnancy made her feel “eggshelly.”
Teigen already reached halfway through her pregnancy, and she pleaded with her fans not to diagnose her.
Amid the loss, Teigen and Legend delivered their gratitude for their children and the events they went through together.
“But everyday can’t be full of sunshine,” they said. “On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.”
