Chrissy Teigen hospitalized due to pregnancy complications
On Sunday, Chrissy was rushed to the hospital for excessively bleeding.
She attributed this issue to her weak placenta, which doesn’t give her baby the nutrients it needs.
Chrissy Teigen has been sharing her difficult pregnancy journey on social media.
Speaking of the non-stop bleeding, Mrs. Legend revealed, “I’m about halfway through pregnancy, and the blood has been going on for about a month, maybe a little bit less than a month.”
“A lot of people spot, but it’s usually fine. Mine was a lot,” Chrissy added.
On Monday, she was able to get two blood transfusions.
“I had my first blood transfusion, which sounds so much more dramatic than it is. It’s just like an IV except not fluids, it’s human blood.”
However, despite Chrissy’s mandatory bed rest and being in the hospital, the cookbook author was able to keep her cheerful and positive humor.

Doing well despite the experience
Chrissy also assured her fans that she wasn’t feeling too bad.
“It’s so weird because I feel really good,” Chrissy said. “I’m usually at my happiest pregnant, mood-wise. That’s why it’s so hard for me to come to terms with.”
Being proud of the baby boy inside his stomach, Chrissy said that she, John, and their two kids, Luna and Miles, are excited for the new addition in the family.
“He’s moving so, so much sooner than they ever have. I’m so excited for him. He’s the strongest little dude. He’s the coolest guy in the crappy house,” she added.

Thanking the doctors
Despite being grateful for people diagnosing her online, she begged her fans and online health professionals to let her doctors do their job.
“If you’re a doctor, I can’t express enough how much I would like you to stop your guessing games. Or even you diagnose me via Twitter.”
She added, “I have very good doctors who know the whole story. I share a lot but not absolutely everything.”
