Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ is finally releasing in Indian theaters!

The ambitious sci-fi project of Christopher Nolan, Tenet, is finally arriving in Indian cinemas. It’s releasing in theaters now.

According to the official Warner Bros India Twitter account, Tenet is eventually releasing in India. The tweet is a special video message from the genius director himself. Christopher Nolan hopes for an excellent response to the movie from the Indian audience.

The Chris Nolan directorial stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki in lead roles. The rest of the cast members are Dimple Kapadia, Kenneth Branagh, and Michael Caine.

“Tenet” and its box-office projections for India

Speaking in terms of the performance amid a pandemic, Tenet has managed to earn a respectable total of about $358 million. This is the figure for its worldwide collections. Now that it’s in India, it will be interesting to see how it fares among the audiences.

When released earlier this year, it did a business of around $58 million in the United States. In other territories, it earned nearly $300 million.

Made on a budget of an estimated $200 million, the sci-fi/time travel drama tells the story of a CIA agent. Actor John David Washington portrays this role.

Robert Pattinson is his handler character Neil, while Elizabeth Debicki plays Katherine Barton. She’s an art appraiser and an estranged wife of Sator. The latter is a Russian oligarch, played by Kenneth Branagh. Interestingly, he’s the one who can commune with the future!

Other actors like Dimple Kapadia plays the part of Priya, an arms trafficker. And Michael Caine is Sir Michael Crosby, a British Intelligence Officer.

Since the project is a mesmerizing IMAX experience, watching it on the big screen will surely turn out to be great, especially for the Indian viewers who haven’t witnessed any film in theaters since March.
