With the latest reveal of the iPhone 13 series, smartphone camera lovers are also super excited for the recently announced Cinematic Mode.
Although iPhone 13 is not drastically different from last year’s iPhone 12 models, the camera segment is worth watching because Apple has stressed the newly introduced Cinematic Mode in the latest Pro line-up.

If you are a content creator or an aspiring filmmaker, the iPhone 13 series might be for you. More specifically speaking, the iPhone 13 Pro variants.
Cinematic Mode is something that caught the eyes of everyone during the Keynote 2021 event on September 14. And those who want to do high-end filmmaking, but don’t have professional gear, can now look up to the newest series.
In simple terms, Cinematic Mode brings focus to a whole new level while shooting a scene. Like in the films, when a subject enters the frame, the focus automatically shifts itself from another subject to emphasize.
Generally, it’s found in ultra-expensive DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. They do the rack focusing in adjusting dynamically changing focus between multiple subjects.
And that’s exactly what the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max line-up will do—giving you the ability to be a professional filmmaker with just a phone camera in your pocket!
The Cinematic Mode, alongside the ProRes feature (arriving later this year), will aid independent creators in doing spectacular projects.
While the video shooting on iPhones is already unmatched, the new camera upgrades will make it untouchable.
Upcoming Apple announcements
Meanwhile, the California tech giant is currently busy, again, with future products and reveals.
After the Keynote 2021 or “California Streaming” session, Apple will likely present few more devices before the year-end.
In terms of rumors, there might be a third generation of AirPods TWS headphones in the next few weeks. They will reportedly have a similar design to 2019’s AirPods Pro. Apple may present them via the press release instead of another online event.
On the other hand, the AirPods Pro themselves will witness a significant upgrade, possibly next year. The second-gen headphones will likely have an advanced Active Noise Cancellation and a much better audio quality.
Then there are the upcoming MacBook Pro models as well.
As for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro series, consumers can now pre-order them starting September 17. They will get the delivery by September 24.
