Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart broke their silence over the two sexual assault allegations made against them on Twitter.
There are also other Twitter users that accuse other Riverdale stars, like KJ Apa and Vanessa Morgan, of sexual harassment. However, it seems like it is only false accusations.
Cole Sprouse revealed there were anonymous accounts on Twitter that accused him of sexual offenses. Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, and Vanessa Morgan face the same accusations. But, he called the allegations “false accusations,” promising to take legal action against it.
Cole wants to get to the roots of the allegation
In a series of tweets, the 27-year-old star revealed he took these accusations “very seriously.” Hence, he would be working with the right teams to get to the bottom of it.
“False accusations do tremendous damage to victims of actual assault,” the actor said. “Furthermore, I would never seek to silence anybody.”
Earlier today myself and three other cast mates were falsely accused of sexual offense by anonymous accounts on twitter. I take these accusations very seriously, and will be working with the right teams to get to the root of it. (1)

He even encouraged everyone to look into the accusations against him, explaining details about what, allegedly, happened were “factually untrue.”
“This seems to be the latest claim in a series of incidents seeking to baselessly cancel my castmates and me,” he Cole Sprouse ended his note.

Lili supports ex-boyfriend
Lili Reinhard supported her ex-boyfriend’s claim, saying she, too, took the “sexual allegations seriously.”
“It was proven that this account was created specifically to create false stories about me and my cast,” she said. “I can’t think of something more twisted than lying about sexual assault.
The 23-year-old actress believes giving false accusations is invalidating the bravery of the men and women who are coming forward to say the truth.
“This kind of lie can ruin lives and careers,” she added. “I can call it a lie because the person who made the allegations already admitted that the stories were fabricated.”

A woman named Trisha, who accused Lili Reinhart of sexual harassment, admitted how easy to tell a lie on social media, and everyone would believe it. She then cleared that neither Vanessa Morgan nor KJ Apa did anything wrong. “You will believe anything,” the alleged accuser ended her tweet.
Hence, just like Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart would take legal action, believing this kind of behavior harms the real survivors.
“This was incredibly triggering for me and scary because I’ve always supported survivors and believed them,” she said. “I hope and pray that this does not discourage real survivors from speaking out about their experiences.”
