Common ‘Valorant’ error codes and how to fix them

Valorant is still in its early stages, but it’s already turning the heads of many gamers worldwide. As it is still relatively in the works, there are Valorant error codes that players get into every once in a while.

Apart from bugs and glitches, one thing that annoys players is Valorant error codes. These appear unexpectedly, and they could ruin the experience rather quickly. Although Riot Games is yet to fix these errors, there are some ways players can sort out the issues temporarily.

Error Code 43

Error Code 43 occurs whenever the Riot Launcher fails to connect to the servers. This means the code happens when connections are intermittent. To fix the issue, players can try restarting the Riot Client first. If that doesn’t work, then there’s a chance that they are trying to connect using slow internet.

Error Code 46

This is one of the most common Valorant error codes out there as it has something to do with server maintenance. As the game is still in its early stages, it goes through maintenance and updates every once in a while.

If players see this code, they should first check with Riot if there’s server maintenance ongoing. If there isn’t, then it’s best they contact support immediately.

Error Code 29

This is one of the new error codes experienced in the game, and it’s very common for now. The error can be fixed with a simple restart usually, but sometimes, this trick doesn’t work. In those cases, players can try to run the game as an administrator, and that should do the trick.

If it still doesn’t work, players could also try reinstalling Vanguard, the Riot Client, or their computer in general.

Error Code 54

This is one of the first error codes to appear in the game. It occurs when files from the game fail to load, and it can close down Valorant rather quickly. To fix the problem, players should bring up the Task Manager and end the game from there. Once done, they simply need to restart Riot Client and then launch the game.

Error Code 5

Error Code 5 happens when players are logging in to the game while their account is already logged in elsewhere. Unless they are using another device to play Valorant, players should contact support immediately if the error code pops up as it could be a case of hacking.

These are just a few Valorant error codes that players need to know. There are other codes to check out, and Riot Games have already listed them out as well.
