Developers of Elite Dangerous have decided to delay its updates on consoles unless they fix the buggy nature of it on the PC platform.
At the moment, the console ports of Elite Dangerous are on hold. Seems like there are way too many glitches in the space-based adventure.

Since the launch of its Odyssey expansion, Elite Dangerous has had a rough time, mostly. Fans have constantly criticized the gameplay and how bad it becomes due to the bugs.
Many updates rolled out in the last few months, but it still needs a lot of refinement.
Now, the developing team of Frontiers Development has announced that it pauses the game’s console ports. And it’s doing that to first finish making the PC version completely bug-free. Only then will it proceed further with the console ports.
On the game’s forum, the CEO of Frontier, David Braben, informed about the current roadmap for Elite Dangerous.
He also addressed players’ frustration when it comes to witnessing errors and glitches. And considering that he said that the studio wants to give “the experience that you and we expect on PC.”
He said that their current priority is improving the PC gameplay of the core title, no matter what. And once they are done with it, the work on console ports will begin.
When it comes to the release period for the other versions, he didn’t give any specific details.
But it will take time.
