Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance on Keith Urban’s breathtaking performance during the One World: Together At Home concert. The concert aims to raise funds to support COVID-19 responders and affected individuals.
Due to the serious outcome of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of Hollywood celebrities have become role models in taking social distancing seriously. Keith Urban, together with other celebrities have performed in their own homes in tribute to COVID-19 responders.
One World: Together At Home Concert Raises Funds for COVID-19
The show which lasted for eight hours flaunted some of the biggest performers in the music industry. To name a few, Lady Gaga, Paul Macartney, Jennifer Lopez and Billie Eilish were one of the 100 artists who also performed.
One World: Together At Home concert called for a global unity and support amid the coronavirus lockdown. Celebrity performances were not the only content of the concert. Frontliners and responders have also shared their real life experiences and their heroic efforts in their fight against the pandemic.
The artists have joined together to raise awareness as well as give their support to all frontliners and responders who have dealt with the pandemic. The concert which generated almost $128 million was organized by Global Citizen, the World Health Organization and Lady Gaga.
The proceeds of the concert will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund and will focus on the development of vaccine as well as monetary support for the local charities.
Keith Urban’s breathtaking performance on Steve Winwood’s Higher Love
The multi-awarded Australian country singer chose to perform Steve Winwood’s Higher Love during the concert. What is making the performance breathtaking is that the singer can be seen singing in three versions of himself.
The two versions of Keith were seen performing different guitar melodies that perfectly blended with the original sound. Furthermore, Keith Urban also created a flawless harmony as he was singing in three different vocal ranges. Overall, the performance sounded like Urban was performing with the rest of his band.
Higher Love which was a hit back in the 80s couldn’t be more timely during this crisis. Keith Urban along with other singers have joined the cause to support all frontliners and responders against this pandemic.
Nicole Kidman made surprise appearance
Keith Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman, made a surprise appearance in the last part of the singer’s entertainment performance. Nicole, who walked into the frame beside Keith, had clearly shown her support not only to her husband but to all COVID-19 fighters, may it be the frontliners or the affected families.
Keith had also given a message of support, thanking all the health workers, and frontliners for all their effort and courage during this pandemic.
