Crash Bandicoot 4 is one of the most anticipated games to arrive this year. Initially developed by Naughty Dogs, the game will be the eighth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series. With the new features added, blending both traditional and modern elements, players are clamoring to play the game early.
To show their support, publisher Activision and Toys for Bob are generous enough to allow players to have an early look at the game. Furthermore, players can play Crash and Neo Cortex, the game’s main antagonist.
Toys for Bob co-studio head, Paul Yan shared said:
“Fans are so excited to get their hands on Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, the first original Crash Bandicoot title in more than a decade. Even though we’re still a number of weeks out from the official launch, we can’t wait for fans to experience the challenge, fun, and love we’ve poured into this game, so we’re really happy to offer them early access to part of the game through a special demo.”
Reportedly, players have found the game to be challenging, yet offers an ultimate gaming experience. There are three stages to try, and each one has its feature to probe. The first stage is known as the Snowy Out. In this stage, players are faced with an ice-covered surface. True enough, the ice surface is not easy to maneuver, particularly in the location of the waterfall. To get past this, players must grab one of the special masks to get control of the game.
Another stage that is accessible in the demo is the Dino Dash. Players who were able to play this stage are reminded of the Crash Bandicoot classic. Although it resembles the old versions, the game is still as challenging as expected. If players are not careful enough, they will easily get killed by an enemy after enemy without warning. Players will also have dodge explosives as well as killer plants. To make the game more intense, a big dinosaur suddenly gives a chase, proof enough to be wildly fun.
The third stage, known as Ship Happens, allows players to play Crash’s main villain, Neo Cortex. In comparison to Crash, Neo Cortex cannot double jump. However, he can dash through the air, which is very useful in hard puzzles. An important feature of Cortex is his ability to use his ray gun weapon to transform villains into stationary platforms. Hence, the demo gives the ultimate feel of Crash Bandicoot 4’s new gameplay.
Fortunately, fans will not have to wait that long because the action-adventure game will finally arrive on Oct. 2.
