Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was thrilled to share its new added features during Sony’s State of Play event. Moreover, the game also announced its latest game modes and fresh new skins to try on.
Just last week, the fans were able to see a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Initially released in 1996, the latest Crash game has come a long way in terms of game features. After the release of the 1998 edition, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, fans have been anticipating a sequel.
Thus, when Toys for Bob announced that a new Bandicoot is underway, fans are more than happy to finally hear the good news. Although there are already remastered versions of the original Crash Trilogy, the new Crash Bandicoot stands as a brand new game.
In the upcoming game, Toys for Bob has done a great job in blending classic and modern elements. Fans of the classic Bandicoot will still experience the traditional gameplay. At the same time, the new players will be able to catch up because of the game’s modern twists.
N. Verted mode feature revealed
The N. Verted mode is one of the many cool features to try in the game because it is a twist on the mirror mode found usually in racing games. Publisher Activision described the mode as “a Bumpa-berry fueled mirror mode”. The N. Verted mode can transport Crash into a colorless world. However, Crash can spin around to paint the world to see the direction he’s heading.

Furthermore, N. Verted mode will take the players into different dimensions with each having different looks and features. One dimension would look like an old-timed movie, and another one would feature a neon-themed dimension. Instead of collecting Wumpa fruits, Crash will pick up Bumpa Berries.
Players will be happy to know that the skins can be bought using the in-game currency instead of the real money.
Coco Bandicoot is playable in the entire game
For the first time, Coco Bandicoot will become prominent in the game’s narrative. Also, fans who love the energy of Coco will be able to play her character throughout the game. She can be played at every level the same as Crash.
