Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time might launch on other gaming platforms, especially on PC soon. Furthermore, the game’s publisher, Activision is evaluating other gaming platforms.
The original Crash Bandicoot games developed by Naughty Dog were very popular with Playstation players. Now, Crash Bandicoot 4 is being developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision.
The upcoming video game is a true sequel to 1998’s Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The fourth installment will immediately follow the events from the Warped, after the defeat of Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy, and Uka Uka.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time might launch on PC soon
For the time being, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is only available on PS4 and Xbox One. However, the chances of releasing the game on other platforms are not at all impossible. Moreover, Activision is not closing its doors on the future of the video game in terms of gaming platform availability.
A representative of Activision, in an interview, said:
“We are still evaluating additional platforms for a future date. Stay tuned for more information.”
Fans are very optimistic that the fourth installment will arrive on PC even though there is no confirmation yet from Activision. To recall, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy originally launched exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2017. It was then released on other consoles and PC in 2018.

A similar case occurred for Spyro Reignited Trilogy, also developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. The game initially launched for consoles in 2018 and came to PC a year later.
If this pattern continues, PC gamers may expect the game’s release next year. Furthermore, PC players will not have to purchase other consoles to play through Crash’s newest adventure.
Trailer and gameplay
The new Crash game offers great adventure because of its classic and modern vibes mixed all together. The latest trailer revealed that Toys for Bob retained some of the game’s traditional well-loved elements. At the same time, the sequel adds modern twists.

In the trailer, Crash’s traditional moves return. Hence, he can jump, slide, and spin, just like in the original Playstation games. However, Toys for Bob has added new abilities, the Quantum Masks. When worn, the mask gives the ability to slow down the time and to get past impossible timing obstacles.
On the other hand, another feature of the Quantum Mask is the ability to defy gravity. Paul Yan, co-studio head at Toys for Bob, mentioned that the mask would give “Crash the ability to flip gravity and control it so that he can walk upside down on platforms.”
