Cristiano tests positive for coronavirus
Cristiano Ronaldo is now captaining the Portugal national football team. He is now in the UEFA Nations League tournament, representing his team. On Tuesday, the Portugal Federation for Football announced that Cristiano Ronaldo had been tested positive for the coronavirus infection.
Following this incident, all other players and staff went through another COVID-19 test. They all were not affected by the virus. Though he is asymptomatic, Ronaldo has started his 10-day isolation from others. It is to be noted that José Fonte and Anthony Lopes, two Portugal players, have tested positive for coronavirus.

Following the infection, Ronaldo has isolated himself from others while taking care of his health. The federation released a press statement stating that Ronaldo will not play for the Portugal squad against Sweden. Both of these teams are in Group C and face each other on October 15, 2020.
Ronaldo will also miss Juventus’ match against Crotone in Serie A this weekend and their Champions League group stage opener against Dynamo Kyiv on October 20.
