Crunchyroll has revealed its latest anime series, The God of High School. The company further announced that the title will drop on July 6.
However, it will only be available in the following countries: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Crunchyroll reveals official trailer and key visual
As the series’ premiere nears, Crunchyroll unveiled the official trailer of the show. The trailer showcased the lead protagonist Jin Mori as well as other supporting characters.
The extensive cast further flaunted different fighting styles as they battled on the ring. The list includes hard-hitting hand-to-hand combat and devastating, sword-inspired stances and techniques.
Moreover, the streaming giant released a key visual of the anime series. It also featured all four main characters.

The God of High School series overview
The God of High School anime series is based on a South Korean web manga, which Yongje Park wrote and illustrated.
Crunchyroll’s official synopsis of The God of High School anime reads:
“Jin Mori has proclaimed himself the strongest high schooler. His life changes when he’s invited to participate in “God of High School,” a tournament to determine the strongest high schooler of all. He’s told that if he wins, any wish he makes will be granted. All the participants are powerful contenders who fight their hardest for their own wishes. What awaits them at the end of the tournament? A chaotic battle between unbelievably strong high school students is about to begin!”

As per Anime News Network, The God of High School’s cast members are as follows:
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Jin Mori
- Kentarō Kumagai as Han Daewi
- Ayaka Ohashi as Yoo Mira
- Daisuke Namikawa as Park Mujin
- Tomokazu Sugita as Gang Manseok
- Yuki Kaida as Commissioner O
- Asami Tano as Commissioner P
- Kenji Hamada as Commissioner Q
- Chikahiro Kobayashi as Commissioner R
- Tomokazu Seki as Announcer T
Moreover, Sunghoo Park was appointed as the anime’s director. Meanwhile, Manabu Akita, well-known for the anime series Kakegurui, designed the characters. Also, Kiyoko Yoshimura is in charge of the series composition and Arisa Okehazama has composed the music.

OP and ED artists
Earlier this month, Crunchyroll disclosed the OP and ED artists of the show. KSUKE is on the opening theme with the song Contradiction. The songs are brand new, these tracks were created solely for this anime series.
KSUKE, the opening song’s artist, expressed his excitement for both his track and the anime. He further commented:
“I think it will make you feel stronger just by listening to it and it perfectly matches the battle scenes that are pinnacles of the anime! It will be available globally so I hope it reaches people around the world & enjoy listening to it along with the anime.”
