Another Cyberpunk 2077 ad is out today, and it still features Keanu Reeves. His handsome mug teases players to become “anything your heart desires.”
Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red are taking advantage of all the free Keanu real estate. So far, they have two 30-second ads this week, both with the master of breathtaking in it. One asks players to “Seize The Day,” and the other saying “No Limits.”
Keanu wants players to seize the day
The new CP2077 ad bit offers a different message than the first one. The “Seize The Day” ad spot talks about combat and crime in the game’s Night City.
“In 2077, what makes a criminal?” asks Keanu in the ad spot, likely as Johnny Silverhand. “Getting caught.”
While seeing Keanu is real breathtaking, the message is what’s important. The ad says that players can become whatever they want as long as their body can pay the price. This bit underscores many core gameplay elements to CP2077.
The game encourages players to try everything that they want once they’re in Night City. It also reminds players not to be afraid of doing things like augmenting their bodies. He reminds players to “seize the day and set it on fire.”
The new ad tells something different, even with almost the same graphics. It welcomes players to Night City and all its trappings.
Players will have “no limits” in Night City
The new “No Limits” ad spot for Cyberpunk 2077 introduces Night City. It shows off all the friends players can make in it, and all the adventures waiting for them. The footage also shows what players can do to their virtual bodies.
From adding augments to replacing their body parts, the “only limit to what you can do is what you’re willing to become.” It tells the player to “dream big” because the “future is yours for the taking.”
The message for the entire video is sweet, considering the level of dystopia within the game. It shows off how open the world is and how much autonomy it gives. It also helps that Keanu is there to imply players that he’s in it too.
Keanu will take on the role of Johnny Silverhand, the rebellious “rockerboy” of Night City. Throughout the game, Silverhand will act as the player character’s guide. He’s a “digital ghost” at the moment, pushing the player into one of the lifepaths.
Cyberpunk 2077 is coming on November 19 this year for all platforms. For players checking if their PC can handle this marvelous game, all the system requirements are out now.
