CD Projekt Red could be planning massive gameplay reveal for the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 this coming June 11.
CD Projekt Red has been teasing on social media a Cyberpunk 2077 event this coming June 11. The company hadn’t gotten into detail about what’s in store, but it is speculated that CDPR will finally showcase Cyberpunk 2077‘s gameplay.
Gameplay showcase
The date couldn’t have been more obvious, given that it was supposed to be the last day of E3 if it hadn’t been canceled. Some even claimed that the event would be a part of the recently announced Game Fest digital events series from May to August.

Whatever the event is, it doesn’t change the fact that people have yet to see an actual gameplay showcase for Cyberpunk 2077. It is likely that CDPR would’ve done so during E3. But with that no longer possible, they would just have to do it through a digital event.
The June 11 event could be just that. CDPR community lead teased on Twitter that “stuff will be shown” during the event. The word “stuff” could mean a lot of things, but with the way things are going, it could be gameplay “stuff.”
Cyberpunk 2077 on track for 2020 release
Despite the coronavirus putting many game titles on hold, specifically The Last of Us Part II, it looks like that won’t be happening to Cyberpunk 2077.
CDPR is looking out for its employees. They transitioned to remote work from home to finish the game’s development. Despite all that, CDPR believes they would still be able to release the game on schedule.
“Our goals haven’t changed; first and foremost, we intend to release Cyberpunk 2077 in September. We feel motivated and have the necessary tools at our disposal to meet this goal,” says CDPR president Adam Kiciński last month.
ESRB Adult Rating
Unexpectedly, the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) gave Cyberpunk 2077 a Mature rating. The game would be violent; that is a given. But the mature rating provides deeper insight as to what kind of content people could expect from the highly-anticipated game.
The ESRB rating reveals that sex would be an important aspect of the game. According to the report, there are several highly suggestive scenes depicting sexual acts in the game. Sex itself could be the main selling point, just like with CDPR’s The Witcher game series.
More than that, full-frontal nudity could also be a thing in Cyberpunk 2077. The ESRB explains that customization of characters includes “depictions of breast, buttocks, and genitalia.” In fact, players would be able to adjust the size of their characters’ genitals.
Well, that is something to look forward to when Cyberpunk 2077 arrives this coming September.
