With the big launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and people getting their hands on it, several issues are emerging. This game is really buggy!
According to Gamesradar, gamers across the globe are reporting serious issues of bugs and drops in framerate. Those playing it on PC, PS4, and Xbox One are having performance problems. In simple words, CD Projekt Red’s latest title is not running well.
On the subreddit, the top post read that “this game is unfinished and [a] total disaster with graphics and texture applying.” Interestingly, it has more than 22,000 upvotes. The user on the portal, named cellymdewitt, said that “it’s so clear to see that after 4 hours of playing this game is still a worksite.”
PS4 players are saying that various texture problems are popping up constantly.
Cyberpunk 2077 memes doing the rounds
Going further, another subreddit user, TheMightyJimmyB, posted: “I can’t believe how bad the game looks/runs on PC.” He said that the title is a big disappointment. He mentioned that it’s so bad that even his highly configured system can’t run it properly. And in the case of Cyberpunk 2077, achieving 55fps is possible only by lowering the graphics settings.
Now that’s a serious and annoying thing to notice because no one wants this kind of irritation, especially after spending money to buy a video game.
Moreover, many people also discovered around ten to fifteen bugs in just an hour of gameplay! A Twitter user posted that “even with my Xbox One X, the game looks horrible.”
Eventually, all this led to a flood of memes. They are showing how players are witnessing Cyberpunk 2077 on their systems.

Did the “overdrive” decision really help or not?
The most crucial thing is that such issues are coming up after so many delays in the last few months. And that’s what CD Projekt Red got bashed for when it first announced the overdrive news. It defended itself, saying that it opted to make the game totally smooth and compatible with all platforms. However, what’s happening now is the opposite of this decision of going to a crunch!
It looks like the game wasn’t finished after all, in terms of completeness. At least that’s what the gamers are saying in their social media reactions. And if it’s really the case, then CDPR has actually made a huge blunder. Were they fully prepared to launch the most-awaited title of 2020?
Meanwhile, memes will continue to surface on Twitter if many more gamers witness constant performance issues. Cyberpunk 2077 is out, but it seems like it might have given birth to a new controversy around itself.
