Cyberpunk 2077 has been set for an update which is possibly going to be released in 2022.
The developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red, had stated that there will be no update in 2020. However, the next update which was scheduled to be released this year is likely going to be delayed until 2022. With this, the public will have to wait until then in order to get their hands on the latest upcoming RPG title from the studio with an approved demo.
The devs did not give a solid release date and did not mention whether there would be any other possible postponements. It will be interesting to see how all this affects the game’s development.
How are the old updates of the game being reviewed by critics?
Cyberpunk 2077 recently launched a public beta and has been widely well-received by critics and enthusiasts alike. This particular update from CD Projekt Red will make huge changes to gameplay and the world crawling with little tweaks here and there, which can make it feel easier for players who haven’t been able to experience Cyberpunk’s unique atmosphere up until now.
The next update for Cyberpunk 2077 is likely going to be the last one CD Projekt Red releases, at least before they move on to their next project, which they have been very secretive about.
Like many of the AAA games that were released in 2019, Cyberpunk 2077 has already had its problems on launch day.
However, CD Projekt Red has been very vocal on their forums and on social media sites such as Twitter and Reddit to address these issues and provide players with solutions to fix any of the bugs or glitches that may occur.
The team is said to take a conservative approach towards the update
CD Projekt Red has taken a conservative approach with Cyberpunk 2077, but the general consensus from the community was to release these updates when ready and not before. Based on recent news, it seems that they will follow this strategy.
Perhaps in the future, players will see a slightly delayed update for Cyberpunk 2077, which will add new content to the game in its entirety. For now, however, it seems that CD Projekt Red is confident that their solution for how players can access their online service provider will be stable enough to be released this year if everything goes according to plan.
So far, the game has maintained a strong presence on Steam’s top seller’s list ever since its release. Based on the sheer amount of copies sold, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to rake in even more cash for CD Projekt Red. It seems that there is still a lot of support for Cyberpunk’s first foray into the multiplayer world.
While there may not be an update coming for Cyberpunk 2077 this year, perhaps 2022 will see another update that will set up this game to reach new heights in sales and popularity.
