In Cyberpunk 2077, players can customize their characters intensively. From the way they look to their background story, the customization options are vast. Just recently, the developer also teased some of the abilities and traits that players can get in the game.
In a recent preview of the game on a German publication, developer CD Projekt Red detailed some of the perks and Cyberware that players can use for V. From the look of things, players can alter V in a variety of ways depending on how they want to play the game.
Perks are special traits that provide players bonuses in the game. Perks are divided into three diverse trees – Athletic, Crafting, and Engineering. Each of the Perk trees offers bonuses that make the game easier. It also allows players to create better equipment for themselves.
The Athletic tree provides bonuses for exploration and combat. Some of the notable perks in this tree include Mule, which doubles carrying capacity and Invincible, which increases health by 10%.
The Crafting tree provides bonuses for crafting equipment, which is crucial in the game. Lastly, the Engineering tree provides bonuses for tech related stuff such as getting more loot from drones and taking less damage from explosions.
On the other hand, Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 is special abilities that augment V’s body. Some of the abilities can directly help during combat, so players need to choose carefully when picking Cyberware.
A notable Cyberware is Mantis Blades. This allows blades to protrude from V’s arms, which will enable him to damage enemies heavily. Krenzikov, on the other hand, slows down time if players are to dodge an attack.
Not all of the Cyberware provide active abilities, though. The Micro-rotors Cyberware increase V’s movement speed. At the same time, Gorilla hands increase V’s strength and melee attacks.
Cyberpunk 2077 is looking better and better with each new detail we get to see. It seems like players will be able to create a character that’s truly unique to them in the game. These in-depth customization options will also help players enjoy the game the way they want to.
