Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have been dating for a while. There are rumors that they are already engaged and are planning for their wedding. However, one outlet took it further, claiming that Martin’s ex is so involved in their upcoming rumored wedding.
Heat published a report claiming that Gwyneth Paltrow was pushing herself to get involved in Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson’s wedding. The Iron Man star allegedly wanted to show her ex-husband she was happy for him to settle down.
Paltrow offered to organize their big day, according to an anonymous insider. However, her efforts have put off the couple. An insider told the outlet that Johnson and Martin think it was awkward to get Paltrow involved, so they allegedly planned to just elope.
The outlet also made it appear that Paltrow was desperate to get involved and won’t take no for an answer.
Gossip Cop refuted the report due to a lack of evidence. First, the outlet assumed that Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are already engaged when there is no proof that they are.
Martin and Johnson are notoriously private when it comes to their romance. The outlet questioned if there is a wedding for Paltrow to plan in the first place.
Second, the rumors about Paltrow meddling with Martin’s relationship is not new at all. In fact, Gossip Cop has repeatedly debunked those claims. Paltrow is already married, and she is happy with her husband, Brad Falchuk, to be so entangled with her ex-husband’s love affair.
Third, with Heat’s reputation for publishing articles based on the statements of its undependable sources, this could be another groundless claim waiting to be debunked. So, avid followers of the couple should take these hearsays lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
Meanwhile, another outlet claimed otherwise. According to New Idea, Johnson was the one who wanted to involve Paltrow in her big day. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress reportedly wants Paltrow to be part of the wedding planning. Paltrow allegedly has the latter has the best contacts in Los Angeles. The insider also implied it was the reason Paltrow, Martin, and Johnson were together last summer.
However, while it’s true that Paltrow is on good terms with the couple, it’s very unlikely for her to get involved with Martin and Johnson’s wedding.
Also, just like Heat, New Idea has a questionable reputation. The outlet has also published several false reports about them in the past.
