Daniel Craig is set to show his final bow as 007 in the James Bond franchise through No Time To Die. But before he leaves the stage, he let out blunt advice to the next actor for the role.
Before ending his time as 007, Daniel Craig sat for an interview on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.” The actor spoke up about the role and uncovered the best advice for the next actor to take on the role.
“Don’t f**k it up,” Craig warned the next man to be on a tuxedo. “It’s a beautiful, amazing thing. Leave it better than when you found it.”
Before Craig, Barry Nelson, Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan became the pioneers of the franchise.
This makes the 52-year-old the eighth actor to play Commander James Bond RN’s character.
Meanwhile, he became the longest-serving 007 actor after reprising the role for 14 years from 2006 to 2020.
Throughout those years, he starred in five James Bond movies — Casino Royale in 2006, Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time To Die this year.

In the same interview with Fallon, Craig finally revealed why he wants to give up his character already.
Per the actor, his work is already done as he already gave everything he could offer to the character.
“I’m so glad that I came back and did this last one. We had lots of loose threads we hadn’t tied up. The story just didn’t feel complete,” he confessed. “I needed a break, I truly admit it.”
He also mentioned that he wanted to get himself away from it for a while. But when he did before, they started talking about storylines again.
Daniel Craig defends “No Time To Die”
Meanwhile, Craig needs to wait for more months before bowing for the last time as the film’s release date changed again.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 25th James Bond film faced its second postponement. This time, creators expect it to make its debut in April 2021.
Per Craig, the pandemic is bigger than anyone else. Instead of triumph, the actor wants their viewers to see the movie in the right and safe way.
“Cinemas all around the world are closed at the moment. We want to release the movie at the same time all around the world and this isn’t the right time,” he went on. “So fingers crossed, 2 April [2021] is going to be our day.”
