Daniel Craig is not drinking too much and slacking on his workout, in contrast to what one tabloid claims.
Daniel Craig has always looked good, especially since playing the iconic character James Bond. However, one outlet claimed that he had been drinking and slacking on his workout, which disturbed his family.
One should take the report with a grain of salt because there is no evidence to support the claim.
Daniel Craig allegedly drinking too much
The Spectre star was accused of drinking too much during the quarantine, which reportedly already disturbed his family.
National Enquirer quotes unnamed pals and insiders alleging that Craig “has been banging back the booze,” leaving Rachel Weisz “enraged.”
Craig was allegedly drinking because he feared his movie No Time To Die would fail.
The outlet also added that he has “slacked on his workouts.” The report sounded like the actor was spiraling into alcoholism, and it made his wife furious.
Gossip Cop debunked the report for several reasons. A source close to Daniel Craig said the rumor was not true.
Also, a recent photograph of Daniel Craig shows that he is still in his best shape. Thus, he has not “slacked on his workouts.”
The rumor-debunking site added that the other allegations about Craig, including the claim that he was drinking too much, were not true.
Moreover, the report was inconsistent. It claimed that Craig was hitting the liquor hard but ends with “no wonder he’s drinking a bit.”
Also, with National Enquirer’s reputation for publishing articles based on the statements of its undependable sources, this could be another groundless claim waiting to be debunked. So, Craig’s avid fans should take these hearsays lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
Craig’s Bond might die in Not Time To Die
Speaking of Daniel Craig’s upcoming movie No Time To Die, there are rumors that it will be his last movie. And his character might die to culminate his story. However, doing so will be a shocking and revolutionary move for the franchise.
“Not only would the death of Daniel Craig’s 007 make sense in the context of the current film series, it would also benefit the future of the franchise and whichever actor settles their backside into the Aston Martin next,” Craig Elvy of ScreenRant wrote.
Elvy added that removing one actor and replacing a new star no longer works for the audience. However, killing the character will make the audience understand that the franchise will have a fresh start – a new set of characters, a new world, and a new Bond.
