A USA’s colossal dating apps group asks people to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
The perks associated with this encouragement aren’t only confined to health benefits. New features are added to these dating apps.
It will help the users to find out their suitable vaccinated partner.
Importantly, it will create a significant impact over a large mass without any hustle. Features like badges are introduced, which will show the present vaccination status.
In addition, premium features will be entirely free for vaccinated users. With this, a link is attached, which will directly surf the user to vaccination resources.
There are various apps following this scheme, but to name a few, Tinder, Hinge, Match, OkCupid, BLK, Chispa, Bumble, and Badoo.
This scheme is introduced to encourage people to get vaccinated on account of providing them more matches which, ultimately, means more dates.
Why are dating apps asking users to get vaccinated?
Concerning research by OkCupid, people who are, or plan to be, vaccinated have a 14 percent more chance to find their date or match. Many apps will allow the users to filter people based on their vaccination status.
Specifically, every app has its defined features. Vaccinated users are getting free premium services on Tinder. Pro-vaccine profile stickers are also available in this new feature on Tinder.

On the other hand, Bumble and Badoo will provide vaccine badges. Vaccinated users will also enjoy premium credits as well on these apps. In addition, Hinge is also following the same league.
It is also asking the users to mention their vaccination status on their profile.
Notably, one thing matters are how these apps will find out whether the status is correct or not. A user can even claim to have a jab while he/she wouldn’t have.
The bottom line of the content
Several apps like Tinder offer verification features. It implies that Tinder and some apps have systems that will verify the user’s information.
As of now, 48 percent of US citizens have received the first dose of vaccination. On the other hand, 38 percent of the US population have received both COVID-19 jabs.
President Biden is attempting to provide the first vaccine shot of adults in the country by July 4th. COVID-19 cases are surging day by day, and new normalcy is all around. Amidst this pandemic, one needs to get at least the first shot of the vaccine as soon as possible.
