Hopefully, there might be positive news for those who want a Days Gone sequel in the future. Its director just teased something!
While talking to famous game designer David Jaffe, Days Gone director Jeff Ross shared his thoughts on a future sequel’s chances.
The 2019 title will also make its long-awaited debut on the PC platform soon.
Will there be a ‘Days Gone’ sequel?
In a recent interview with David Jaffe, director Jeff Ross was asked about a sequel’s probability to his game.
Here’s what he said:
“Never say never to anything, it’s just …maybe not right now.”
His response is vital to note since it recently revealed that Sony refused to greenlit Days Gone’s second installment.
But Ross’s answer might induce several fans with a feeling of hope. Although, it’s still not clear whether Sony, in the future, will allow developing a sequel or not.
Most of the 2019 action-adventure survival game players aren’t too optimistic about it, though, because they think Sony won’t be doing it no matter what.
It will be interesting to see if there is any probability of a sequel or not in the coming months or maybe years!

New video games in 2021
While there may not be a scope for a Days Gone part two, as of now, there’s a lot of scope for fresh releases this year.
Speaking of fresh, then 2021 is packed with several massive heavyweights. Some of the potential blockbusters are Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, and Far Cry 6.
A new Call of Duty installment, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnarok, Stray, and Returnal are also highly anticipated.
However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg since the calendar has even more stuff in its store.
The line-up extends further with New World’s likes, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Back 4 Blood, and Humankind. GhostWire: Tokyo, Kena: Bridge of Spirit, Dying Light 2, Deathloop, and Psychonauts 2 are other vital launches.
Several recently announced titles to make their debuts soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will be quite an interesting one because it will feature a Cat, named Biscuit as the primary protagonist.
Coming back to Days Gone, then it will make its way to the PC platform soon.
What do you think about all the significant games arriving later this year? Have you already picked one of the top favorite releases?
