The Days Gone PC listing is now live on Steam, serving as the second Playstation 4 first-party title to come to the platform.
Sony is slowly adding their first-party titles to PC, with Horizon Zero Dawn being its first-ever. Now, Days Gone PC is also a thing, with the Steam listing going live today. The PC version will also have a few extra features for the platform.
Days Gone will add some key PC features
According to the Steam page, the new Days Gone will have a few special features to make PC play better. Some key PC features players can expect “will include ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates, and improved graphics (increased level of details, field of view, foliage draw distances).”

“Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death,” notes the description.
“Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.”
The game will likely be as good as it gets on the PC, considering the power most Battlestations bring. The ability to customize draw distance and field of view will also make the experience unique.
More Playstation games coming to PC
With Days Gone PC going up, Playstation is slowly dripping their games into the PC, which is new territory for the company. Sony CEO Jim Ryan promises there’s more to come.
“I think a few things changed,” said Ryan in an interview. “We find ourselves now in early 2021 with our development studios and the games that they make in better shape than they’ve ever been before. Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games.
“There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognise the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward,” he further said. “The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the calibre of the IP has improved.
“Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make.”
Sony is enjoying a good start to their games on PC. Horizon Zero Dawn, despite the many bugs it had on launch, reached as many as 716,000 during its release month. More Playstation exclusive titles are still up in the air right now.
Days Gone PC is slated for a Spring 2021 release, which is likely somewhere around April.
