CW’s trailer and synopsis for Legends of Tomorrow season 5’s episode 13 and 14 confirmed crossovers with several shows.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow continues to undermine other titles in the entertainment industry. The series has already secured five seasons, but it does not show signs of ending.
Within its 4-year run time, it has already gathered a huge fan base and garnered positive reviews from critics. Hence, followers of the show are highly anticipating the last two episodes of season five.
Legends of Tomorrow’s world collides with other shows
In the upcoming episode of Legends of Tomorrow, entitled The One Where We’re Trapped on TV, the Waverider team will go on a big adventure. Charlie will scatter the Legends into different television shows in order to protect them from their sister.
A trailer for the forthcoming episode hinted that the team would visit the worlds of Friends, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and even Teletubbies. Moreover, promotional images of the series confirmed that they would also drop on Star Trek and Downtown Abbey.

In the previous installments, the series referenced fellow CW hit series Supernatural. However, co-showrunner Phil Klemmer revealed that the two worlds will not cross over since Supernatural was just a TV show in the Legends’ world. Klemmer stated,
“In our world Supernatural is a TV show, not a real thing. Sorry, Supernatural fans.”
Episode’s official synopsis hints of a disaster
Furthermore, CW has released an official synopsis of the episode which teased a potential disaster that could happen between the legends. It read,
“Of course, in true Legends style some can’t just be blissfully ignorant and happy but figure out a way to end up messing with the system.”
Nick Zano’s take on the episode
Nick Zano, who plays Nate Heywood in the series has shared his thought about the upcoming episode. The actor voiced out,
“That’s one of the best episodes of our series! It was also one of the hardest episodes we’ve ever made. However, it was so much fun.”
He further complimented Arrowverse executive producer Marc Guggenheim, who directed the episode. Zano said,
“Guggenheim made some creative choices that were practical that some people save for editing rooms. But he did it on the floor, which was kind of fun and interesting. It challenged everybody in a very productive way.”
Season 5 finale updates
CW has also divulged the official synopsis of the fifth season’s finale, entitled Swan Thong. It stated,
“Still controlled by the Fates, the Legends find themselves in 1984-esque world, they soon discover that things aren’t as they thought they would be. The Legends must convince the civilians to trust them and stand up for their right to choose, but the Fates don’t make it easy by resurrecting the Encores once again.”
Along with the synopsis comes the announcement that fans’ favorite stars will reprise their role for the final run of the season. This includes Caity Lotz, Jes Macallan, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Olivia Swann and Matt Ryan.
Legends of Tomorrow’s 13th episode of season 5 will air on May 26, 2020. The season’s finale will then follow on the 2nd of June.
