The publisher of Death Stranding just revealed that the game’s PC version made a big profit in 2020, bringing in an impressive £20 million.

A recent financial report of Digital Bros, the parent company of publisher 505 Games, showed that Death Stranding on PC was a hit last year.

Hideo Kojima directs the 2019 game.

‘Death Stranding’ is still popular!

The financial report of Digital Bros, till December 31st, 2020, showed that Death Stranding for PC made £23.192 million last year.

Kojima Productions’ title was released more than a year ago, on PC, in July 2019.

The recently revealed amount earned by it doesn’t include the share of this year’s first quarter, but only till the end of 2020.

When compared to other games for PC, Death Stranding did perform brilliantly. Only Remedy’s Control came close to it, with an amount of 16 million euros.

Coming onto the Hideo Kojima’s title once again, it was initially launched for PlayStation 4. Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe published it.

It was great upon the release in overall sales, coming in on the second spot in UK boxed games chart. At that time, Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was dominating a lot. Despite that, Kojima’s game attracted a lot of buyers.

Currently, rumors are going on that might announce Hideo Kojima’s next project soon. And that it may become an Xbox exclusive, instead of PlayStation, upon its debut.

New games of 2021

There might become a craze for several popular games from a year ago, even in 2021, but this new year itself is also packed with lots of surprises.

Speaking of this year’s upcoming heavyweights, some of them are Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, and Far Cry 6.

A new Call of Duty entry, Horizon Forbidden West, STALKER 2, God of War: Ragnarok, and Stray are anticipated as well.

However, that’s not everything. There’s more!

The line-up extends further with Returnal, Deathloop, Dying Light 2, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Back 4 Blood, Biomutant, Humankind, New World, Cyber Shadow, and No More Heroes 3 are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced titles to arrive soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories. The latter will be quite an interesting one to watch out for. It will feature a Cat as the primary protagonist, named Biscuit!
