Dell’s new XPS 15 and XPS 17 will have Intel’s 11th Gen H-series processor in it

Intel has made the commemorated decision of launching 11th Gen H-series processors in the market for more powerful laptops. Along with that, Dell is ready with its modified versions of its XPS 15 and XPS 17 laptops.

These modified laptop versions of Dell will have the new chips in them. Additionally, Nvidia’s latest RTX 30 series laptop GPUs are also available now in its refreshed manner.

Looking at the physical features of these new models, they will almost remain the same. The model was substantially more appealing, and so nothing has been done to its physical features.

2020 model saw the reintroduction of model size. The models were of 17- inch display size, giving a perfect competition to 15- inch Dell’s popular XPS-13 design.

The only modification which has been done to these laptops are on the grounds of specifications. Undoubtedly, they will be much stronger and more efficient this time.

The laptops will come with Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake H-series chips. Without a doubt, this will bring the company’s 10 nm process to Dell’s stronger laptops.

What modification can one see in Dell’s new XPS 15 and XPS 17?

Looking at the configuration, XPS 15 and 17 will give the best out of it. Now, one can configure these models with the sie i5-11400H, eight-core i7-11800H, and i9-11900H options.

One can choose either of the above three options to configure their laptop with. In addition, XPS 17 model comes up with the i9-11980HK option as well.

Importantly, this configuration will provide eight cores and a maximum 5.0 GHz clock speed. Talking about this configuration, Dell claims it as the “most powerful XPS laptop ever.”

Additionally, there are more options for GPU as well. New GPU options are mainly concerned with more powerful options.

What are other configurations also available with the commencement of modified Dell laptops?

On the grounds of GPU, XPS 15 can be configured either with Nvidia’s RTX 3050 or RTX 3050 Ti (with 45W of power). On the other hand, XPS 17 will offer beefier options, namely 60W RTX 3050 or 70W RTX 3060.

It should note that still both the computers can configure with 64 GB of RAM. They will even get panel options; either 4K (3800 x 2400) or FHD (1920 x 1200).

Furthermore, XPS 15 also comes up with a 3456 x 2160 OLED feature. While talking about several new features, it can’t miss the port. There has been an up-gradation in ports as well.

XPS 17 has four Thunderbolt 4 ports. On the other hand, XPS 15 has two Thunderbolt 4 ports. It also comprises a regular USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
