Max Ehrich and Demi Lovato had “conflicts”
Several insiders revealed that Lovato and Ehrich started to encounter problems these past few weeks when they returned to their respective works. The Camp Rock star has reportedly stayed in Los Angeles, while the Walk. Ride. Rodeo. actor is now working on a film project in Atlanta.
Another source reports that the couple was together “24/7 for months,” and lived in a “bubble” with no stress. But, due to having to work on separate coasts, conflicts emerged between them.

Other sources echoed the assertions, adding that their distance placed a “strain” on their relationship. Nevertheless, later on, an insider close to the situation revealed that Demi Lovato is doing well. The split is a “good thing,” the tipster added.
It was a “tough” decision
The sources continued to share that Demi was not expecting the break-up to happen. It was a very “tough” resolution for them to call-off the engagement.
Despite ultimately separating ways to focus on their careers, they still have “respect” and “love” for each other. They will always “cherish” the time they had together, the insider said. In the end, though, Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have yet to share their thoughts about the break-up.
