Demi Lovato subtly addressed her ex-fiance Max Ehrich’s allegations that she broke up with him through tabloids.
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich announced their engagement in July. But two months later, the two broke up. He said he only learned about their split in newspapers and she said, he misunderstood her.
Demi Lovato is okay about being misunderstood
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich’s separation turned messy when the latter reacted on their split saying he only learned their engagement was off from tabloids. The Skyscraper singer addressed Ehrich in a post on social media.
Lovato shared a message about healing on her Instagram Story. The message was about enjoying alone time and responding rather than reacting. It also talked about setting boundaries and being misunderstood.
“I was okay with being misunderstood,” the message read.

Lovato defended Max before split
A week before they split, Demi Lovato defended Max Ehrich from the netizens who ridiculed him after his alleged thirst tweets for Selena Gomez resurfaced. There were photos of Ehrich’s tweets in 2010 and 2018 praising Lovato’s former BFF.
“Hahaha selena gomez and demi are cute togueter [sic] but boy if you think demi is prettier… you’re WRONG!” one message in 2010 read.
“I’m going to marry @selenagomez,” the other message dated August 2018 read.
Lovato said the pictures were fake. She alleged that the fake images were made to pit women against each other referring to her and Gomez. She added that if women have conflict, it’s between them.
Gomez and Lovato were very close years ago, but they have not been spotted lately.
Earlier this year, the Boyfriend singer shared a picture of Lovato’s performance at the Grammy Awards. Gomez also applauded Lovato for her courage and Bravery.
However, in April, Lovato said they are not friends. But she stressed that she would always “have love” for Gomez because they grow up together.
Star-studded wedding plans
Meanwhile, OK! Magazine claimed that Demi Lovato was planning a star-studded dream wedding in spring. She reportedly wants to get Ariana Grande as her maid of honor. She was also planning to have Sam Smith as the reception serenader.
The outlet also noted that Gomez won’t be invited because the bride wanted that day to have only “positive vibes.” The article concluded that she might be rushing, but the singer allegedly insisted that “it feels right.”
Gossip Cop debunked the report because apparently there is no wedding. Also, Lovato and Ehrich were just engaged for two months to plan for their wedding. In fact, they just separated.
