The much-awaited Entertainment District arc of Demon Slayer Season 2 drops a new official trailer, hinting at its start.
The first seven episodes featured the retelling of the Mugen Train arc events, which were first seen in the movie with the same title. Now that it has come to an end, fans can finally witness the beginning of Demon Slayer Season 2.
The start of the Entertainment District arc
The Entertainment District arc will finally kick off in the upcoming installment. It will be the next phase of the story Koyoharu Gotouge made in the original manga series, following the Mugen Train arc.
Comicbook noted it would be the first brand new materials that the anime would adapt since the release of the mega-successful feature film in October last year.
It will start in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 and it has now dropped a new trailer for fans in Japan.
Here, new challenges will arise as new allies arrive. Tanjiro will now work with a new Hashira, the Sound Hashira named Tengen Uzui.
The Entertainment District will be this new Hashira territory. However, he will soon look for a new dangerous mission to set him and Tanjiro against a new Upper-Rank demon.
So, who can it be?

The first episode special
Fans can expect the very-first episode of the Entertainment District arc to be special as it will be extended for an hour.
In fact, this can be treated as the premiere episode of the second season after the Mugen Train arc. This arc had been adapted into a movie that was later released as a seven-episode season.
The latest storyline will take the Sound Pillar onto the center stage, along with Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu.
Here, they will be up against the Upper Rank Six demon Daki, per Yahoo! News.
Fans will also hear the second season’s official soundtracks, “Zankyo Sanka,” which will be the opening theme.
Alternatively, the ending theme will be “Asa ga Kuru.” There are no words yet on how long this particular arc will run, but fans will surely see more challenges that will come on Tanjiro’s way.
There will be a much stronger threat than Mugen Train arc’s Akaza.
Tanjiro knows there is a bigger room for him to grow and he will soon learn how quickly needs to do this.
The Entertainment District arc of Demon Slayer Season 2 will officially begin in Japan on Sunday, Dec. 5.
