Demon Slayer Season 2 is finally confirmed and now on its way to the small screens. After a series of assumptions and rumors, fans will officially see Tanjiro Kamado back in action.
The franchise officially announced the coming of Demon Slayer Season 2. It also dropped a special trailer to give fans a taste of what they are about to see.
The new trailer, official announcement, and more
According to Comicbook, the trailer was first posted in Japan and subtitled by Twitter user Aitaikimochi.
“Here’s the subs for the new Kimetsu No Yaiba (Demon Slayer) Season 2: Entertainment District arc announcement trailer!” the tweet read.
The clip carries the original animation style of ufotable that the anime features from the very beginning. By the looks of it, the original design proves that the almost two-year wait is all worth it.
The video begins with a still shot of a house until it reveals a woman in full makeup. Despite the beauty she possesses, there is something sinister about her.
This seems to tease that another set of demons are about to appear in Demon Slayer Season 2.
As the scene continues, it then reveals that the second season will explore the Entertainment District arc.

The Entertainment District arc
Zenitsu is ready for another mission in Demon Slayer Season 2. It also shows Inosuke, who is also all set for another action.
The entertainment district has been known for being full of greedy monsters, which are not afraid to prey on the weak.
So, Screentant added that the much-loved characters are about to infiltrate this district. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will be working with Tengen Uzui, who is the Hashira on the poster.
Here, the demon slayer himself and the rest of the gang will be taking another threat after being involved in the Mugen Train arc.
Thankfully, the swordsmen will be helping them with some new moves to take on their latest adventure.
Elsewhere, the franchise is about to have its first console video game this year. This only shows that although the manga has ended, its fame continues to rise.
The manga started to have an anime adaptation in 2019, and it was a big hit. It began to rake in good reviews that gave birth to a movie adaptation and now a second installment.
Demon Slayer Season 2 is set to be out this year, although its official release date is yet to be announced
