Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer has a lot to offer to its loyal fans this time. From manga to anime series to anime movie, a new book and manga are about to come based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s brainchild.

It cannot be denied that Demon Slayer is one of the most famous franchises in the world right now. After the release of its mega-successful movie and an upcoming new season, new stories are about to come.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Novel: Operation Infiltrate the Entertainment District Arc

Weekly Shonen Jump announced a new book about the famous manga series that will be out this week.

Called Kimetsu no Yaiba Novel: Operation Infiltrate the Entertainment District Arc, it will be in line with the second season’s upcoming arc.

Shuka Matsukda will write the book’s tale, while Gotouge himself will provide its artwork.

According to Comicbook, the upcoming novel will adapt some parts of the anime’s Entertainment District arc.

This arc is one of the epic storylines of Demon Slayer, covering the manga’s eighth to 11th volume.

So far, the franchise has featured four novels and each one of them is written by Aya Yajima.

Viz Media announced it would bring these stories internationally, so international fans could soon get their hands on them.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba–Stories of Water and Flame

In addition, CBR noted a new manga about the two fan-favorite Hashira’s would be out in 2022.

Titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba–Stories of Water and Flame, Viz Media announced it would follow the story of Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka and Flame Hashira Rengoku Kyojuro.

It will be a back-to-back tale based on the world of Demon Slayer.

So far, there are no official details about the upcoming new manga, aside from the targeted spring 2022 release window.

The original manga series has officially ended in 2020 with 23 volumes. Its English translation, alternatively, will be out later this summer.

The anime’s first season concluded in 2019, so fans are now waiting for the second season’s release.

“In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted boy who makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family,” the mangas’s official synopsis reads.

“His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life,” it continues.

The Demon Slayer new book, Kimetsu no Yaiba Novel: Operation Infiltrate the Entertainment District Arc, will be out on July 16.
