Even with the rapid rise of non-fungible tokens and their expansion, it won’t actually reach its limit soon, as this is only the first phase of its progress.
In other words, NFTs won’t just be a mere fad but would grow even bigger, in terms of adoption, and would evolve in ways people won’t expect.
This revelation was shared by digital artist Pplpleasr, who firmly believes that the production and dissemination of art represent just the first phase of NFT tech adoption.
Web 3.0 and NFTs
PplePleasr joined host Frank Chaparro in discussing the details behind the immersive DeFi cover she created for Fortune Magazine and the big role that NFTs would play in the so-called Web 3.0.
The lady digital artist was commissioned by Fortune to create its first-ever NFT cover. This high-tech cover was meant as a tribute to the growing NFT community and features popular avatars.
Pplpleasr created an image that represents an opposite image of Wall Street, which is typically gloomy, cold, and too corporate. She created something that exudes creativity through colors and immersive imagery which depicts the NFT world’s dynamic nature.
Special moment
“The Fortune magazine was something that I think is a special moment for all of us because it sort of represents one of these pivotal moments of traditional media representing the entire community,” PplePleasr said.
But even though the artist recognizes the big potential of NFTs, she admitted that its current state is hounded by limitations, problems, and inconveniences.
And as everybody knows, every advanced technology today started in this stage, which means that NFTs will soon iron out these problems and become a better and more efficient technology in the near future.
