Disney+ crashed again as ‘WandaVision’ episode 9 dropped

Share

It happened two weeks ago, and now once again, the viewers witnessed it. Disney+ app crashed as WandaVision episode 9 was released.

Due to the immense curiosity and impatience of WandaVision fans, the Disney Plus app crashed on Friday. A similar instance previously took place when episode seven came out two weeks ago.

The MCU TV series features Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany in lead roles.

‘WandaVision’ Episode 9 and the rush of fans

Speaking of the app blackout then it happened in several regions, reported by Downdetector. It is a website that keeps track of online outages.

The portal revealed that many Disney+ subscribers rushed to stream the finale episode of WandaVision simultaneously. As a result that, the platform failed to take the overload and eventually crashed.

Within hours of the last episode’s release, people began complaining about going through an outage. It was mostly around midnight.

However, the good thing is that not all the subscribers faced this situation. In terms of figures, it happened with only around 2,300 viewers of Disney Plus.

When the first blackout took place in February, it lasted for nearly ten minutes. Many people reported their issues upon not being able to watch episode seven.

Coming back to the latest incident than those who went through a crash problem shared it on Twitter.

Here’s how they reacted when they weren’t able to stream episode 9 of WandaVision:

More MCU content is coming

Meanwhile, despite the end of one MCU show, the streak will keep its flow, no matter what, because there’s just so much to look forward to.

After WandaVision, die-hard franchise lovers will get to see a new series in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The second phase four entry will start streaming from March 19th.

Furthermore, there will be a great line-up of awaited movies like Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals. However, there’s a considerable uncertainty looming over their release. Because the pandemic is still there, and the circumstances are yet to become normal.

If things don’t change for good in the coming months, these MCU films might miss a theatrical launch. And the only solution will be an arrival on Disney’s streaming service.

Speaking of other future titles, then there is the Loki TV series starring Tom Hiddleston. It will start streaming this June.

But that’s not all!

The list of anticipated installments gets extended further with the likes of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Thor 4. Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, Blade, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, What If…?, Armor Wars, Secret Invasion, and Ironheart are other big projects.
