South Koren actress Go Ara plays the role of Goo La La, an energetic pianist. At the same time, actor Lee Jae Wook is the expert part-timer named Sun Woo Joon.
Both characters cross paths in a piano academy located at a small countryside village called La La Land.
In the press conference, Producing Director Kim Min Young talked about the character of Goo La La. Go Ara’s personality fits her character even she has never played a role in a romantic comedy genre. Go Ara commented that she enjoys watching romantic comedy series.
And now that she is playing a character in a romantic comedy series, she revealed that the fun on set is genuine. Having that said, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol is Go Ara’s first romantic comedy acting stunt since her debut.
The screenwriter of KBS’ new mini-series shared that Go Ara is the perfect match for the character. Go Ara replied that it is only 99 percent and would love to leave the 1 percent gap. She practiced playing the piano for about 3-4 months to prepare for her role.
She plays piano as a hobby, and she wants to improve her skills to play more impressive songs in the series.
Meanwhile, Lee Jae Wook made his debut in 2018. His character as Sun Woo Joon is the first lead role of Lee Jae Wook in a mini-series.
Despite being a lead actor in the first two years of his career, he can not say that he did not feel pressure for the ongoing series. Lee Jae Wook set his mind a lot for the role. The director and co-actors are all easygoing, and it helped him adjust quickly.
Instead of thinking that he is incredibly loved, he believed that he had the luck to choose suitable projects. Lee Jae Wook added that he worked hard for the role, and he wanted the viewers to love Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.
