Donald Trump says he has no symptoms after he and Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19.
Donald Trump is doing good just days after announcing that he tested positive for coronavirus. His wife, Melania Trump, also contracted the disease. The announcement got many worried about their son Barron. Fortunately, the 14-year-old is safe.
Donald Trump no coronavirus symptoms
Donald Trump said in a letter that he had a “restful” Monday night at the White House. He also announced that he had no symptoms, AP News reported.
The president is already focusing his efforts on his next political steps, especially that the election is only a few weeks away. In fact, he announced in a tweet that he was planning to attend next week’s debate with Democrat Joe Biden in Miami.
Meanwhile, on his part, Biden said they “shouldn’t have a debate” as long as the president remains COVID positive.
Initially, there were rumors that Trump only faked his coronavirus diagnosis to dodge the presidential debate. The first debate did not turn out well for Trump, according to his critics. So, they felt that he wanted to avoid the next debate.
I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

Many felt that Donald Trump was downplaying coronavirus again. It appeared to his critics that he wasn’t taking his illness seriously.
He also sparked an intense backlash when he announced on Twitter that the people should not be afraid of COVID-19.
“Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of COVID. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!” he tweeted.

Trump slammed for coronavirus statement
Many netizens didn’t like Donald Trump’s statement saying that the public should not be afraid of COVID-19, especially those who lost their loved ones to the disease.
One said he felt awful about Mr. Trump’s statement because he lost his dad last week to coronavirus. The netizen said he was weeping because the statement made him feel like his dad’s life didn’t matter.
Amanda Kloots, the wife of late Nick Cordero, was also fuming with the POTUS’ statement. Mr. Trump’s words made her, and those who lost a family member to COVID-19 feel like they “let it” happen to them. It was as if they chose to lose a family member due to the pandemic.
Kloots said she cried next to her husband for 95 days and watched him fight for his life. Trump’s statement is something that one would never say to those who lost a family member to COVID-19.
“There is no empathy to all the lives lost. He is bragging instead. It is sad. It is hurtful. It is disgraceful,” she concluded.
