Doom Patrol season 2 premiere date is drawing near. So to hype up fans, DC Universe and HBO Max released new teasers.
Doom Patrol season 2 is one of the most awaited shows this year in DC Universe and HBO Max.
The series features a team of downtrodden superheroes who have each experienced traumatizing events in their lives.
And because of that, they are not only warmly welcomed by fans but very well-loved for their uniqueness and own spin to the definition of a hero.
Many have been looking forward to their return to the small screen. And the excitement is even greater with the release of two posters.

First look of a new character
The highlight of the released teaser posters is the first look of a new character. Joining in the mix is Dorothy Spinner played by Abigail Shapiro.
She is known to be Chief’s (Timothy Dalton) daughter who turns out to be very powerful. And to match her introduction to the series, one poster hints a reference to the classic children’s novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”

As everyone knows, the novel comes with a character named Dorothy Gale and a famous fictional element, the yellow brick road. Moreover, Dorothy Spinner’s look is comic book accurate which will surely thrill fans.
Season 1 closed with Dorothy’s appearance. She was hidden away by the Chief for decades. She possesses the ability to make her imaginary friends become real, which is quite similar to Crazy Jane’s (Diane Guerrero) multiple personalities.
Dorothy is also no simple-powered girl. In fact, the official synopsis revealed that she is a real threat to bringing the end of the world.
The group of superheroes must protect the newest member of the family. But first, they will need to figure out how to grow up literally.
The season finale shrank Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) into Ant-Man size.
The Chief of Niles Caulder betrayed the superheroes and now they have to deal with it while confronting their own personal burdens.
New important character
Aside from Dorothy, there’s also another character that will be making a debut once Doom Patrol season 2 drops.
Sources also revealed that Mark Sheppard from Supernatural is going to be a guest star. He will be playing the character named Willoughby Kipling, an occult detective with sneering British humor.
Doom Patrol season 2 will premiere on June 25 on DC Universe and HBO Max.
