Sorry, guys, there is no Dr. Stone Chapter 206 coming this week.
The manga will be on a two-week hiatus due to Boichi and Riichiro Inagaki’s personal break. So, there will be a long waiting game before fans finally see Dr. Stone Chapter 206.
A Lengthy Delay
Just like any manga serialized in the Shonen Jump Issue, Senku and the rest of the gang’s story also comes out every week.
However, after Chapter 205’s release on July 18, the series will be on a lengthy delay.
There is no Dr. Stone Chapter 206 to look forward to this weekend or the following week either.
According to Dual Shockers, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump announced on its 33rd/34th issue that its two mangakas were taking a break.
Boichi and Inagaki announced their hiatus to have more time to do more research about the series.
As the manga heavily relies on science to continue its story, Boichi and Inagaki know every detail they need to include must be accurate.
The protagonist, Senku, is a science genius himself who uses scientific innovations to rebuild human civilization.
With this theme, Boichi and Inagaki have to do thorough research and a lot of brainstorming to create the best ideas that will continuously surprise fans.
Anyhow, the creators assured the manga would return in the magazine’s 36th/37th combined issue.

Chapter 205 Recap
In Dr. Stone Chapter 205, Ryuusi continuously bothered Sai about science stuff, OtakuKart News noted. He would usually ask him for help to do science projects, but Sai eventually got tired of doing anything related to this subject.
So, when he asked for his help to build a sailing ship, racecourse and optimal raising lines, Sai said he was the programmer and needed to code.
From here, Sai left Nanami Corp because they wanted him to do all the works. After he left, he joined the university in India.
Sai started to wonder how many years it would take to have a computer in the stone world. Senku said it might take five to ten years more, so Sai asked why they revived him when he had to wait for many years for a computer.
As Senku talked about semiconductors, Sai realized he was revived when only a pocket calculator was invented.
So far, there are no words yet if the manga will be delayed later than Boichi and Inagaki’s announced break. So, Dr. Stone Chapter 206 will be part of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump 36th/37th issue, releasing on Aug. 10.
