Dr. Stone Season 2 will surely come next year, as part of the 2021 winter anime series.
Everyone is now excited to see the coming of Dr. Stone Season 2. From its official release date to its network, all is set for its release.
The second season’s major details
The second season will officially bear the title, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars. In July, Weekly Shonen Jump teased an impending announcement about the anime’s new season.
Later, it officially announced its official release date.
According to Monsters and Critics, this announcement didn’t come as a surprise since many leaks about it had been circulating online. In fact, a lot of fans already expected the anime to come next year.
However, if there is one thing that the publication is yet to announce, it is the number of episodes the second season will have.
If it is based on the manga story’s pacing, the new installment will likely be a single cour. Hence, it will only have 12 episodes.
There are also questions about how the anime will adapt the remaining manga chapters in the Stone Wars arc.
Will Dr. Stone Season 2 also adapt the reboot of Byakuya’s side of the story?
As these things will remain big questions, fans are also waiting to see a new trailer or even a key visual for the second installment.

New voice actors coming in the second season
Meanwhile, Comicbook reported that Dr. Stone Season 2 would introduce fans to three new voice actors joining the mix.
Twitter user Spytrue gave a glimpse of the magazine page that showed the new cast members that fans are about to hear.
Kensho Ono will be voicing the character of Ukyo Saionji, Yoshiki Nakajima as Yo Uei, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Nikki Hanada.
Soon, fans will see several battles between brains and brawn, starting with the mad scientist Senku.
He has been working very hard to bring humanity back to life after the big reveal seen in the previous season. Here, humanity still continues through the villages similar to the prehistoric days.
So, fans can expect to see more mystery coming out in the next season.
Dr. Stone Season 2 is set to be out in January 2021. Fans will see its English subs everywhere around the world, except for Asia, when it airs in Japan. Funimation, on the other hand, will stream its new episodes with an English dub.
