The franchise has been continuously teasing the coming of Edens Zero anime series with a few hints and teasers here and there. With the success of its manga and Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tale series, this one is truly a must-see.
The new anime series will not be out until April in Japan. However, fans have received an early preview after its first two episodes drop, Comicbook noted.
These episodes reveal its official opening theme, “Eden Through the Rough” by T.M. Revolution, and the ending theme, “Boken no Vlog,” by CHICO with HoneyWorks.
Edens Zero will officially be part of Netflix’s long anime content list. It has dropped the series’ official synopsis, revealing everything will begin in the year X492, when people can travel freely through the universe.
“Rebecca, a video-creating B-Cuber, visits the robotic world of Granbell and meets a young man with special powers: Shiki, who’s lived his entire life among machines,” it read.
“Soon, Shiki is exploring the cosmos with Rebecca, encountering new places, people, and things, and making friends along the way,” it continued.
The anime series will tell the story of the young boy Shiki, who has lived his whole life surrounded by robots and machines.
He lives in the Granbell Kingdom, inside an abandoned amusement park, per OtakuKart News. Rebecca and her cat, Happy, will unconsciously enter and explore the deserted park.
This will be the first time Shiki will see a human, and from here, the rest is history.
Everything will then change when the robots start a rebellion, resulting in a war in the Kingdom of Granbell.
The place Shiki calls home has turned into a hazardous area. He will then escape and join Rebecca and Happy as they embark on an epic journey on the cosmos.
Edens Zero will be part of the spring 2021 anime series. However, international fans have to wait a little longer before it finally drops on Netflix.
The streaming giant has officially got licensed to stream the anime later this year, so fans can binge-watch the show.
Anyhow, it means they have to wait for its entire episodes to be entirely out in Japan.
Edens Zero will drop on Sunday, April 11, in Japan on Nippon TV. As the number of its episodes remains unknown, it remains to be seen when it will end.
